Pediatric dentistry is not just a career for Dr. Fong but a passion. She loves to be part of her patients’ growing up and is devoted to taking care of their oral health making her a great fit for pediatric dentistry. Her nurturing spirit pushes her to provide the best possible care for all of her patients including those with special healthcare needs.

Pediatric Dentistry Beginnings

Dr. Fong first embarked on her dental career at UC Davis where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Biology with high honors. She then finished her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at UCLA where she excelled and received multiple scholarships. After deciding to specialize in pediatric dentistry, she went on to the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC and received her Pediatric Dentistry Certificate.

A Serving Heart

Beyond the office, Dr. Fong is involved with various dental community outreach programs - many of which focus on providing dental care for underserved children.

While attending UCLA, she joined the school’s Community Based Clinical Education program and performed dental cleanings and extractions for underprivileged families and children. She has also been part of the Global Dental Brigades, a program that provides dental care for impoverished international communities, where she led two Honduras mission trips.

Give Kids a Smile Day is another program that Dr. Fong was involved in during her schooling at UCLA. This program provides free dental care to over 100 underprivileged children in Los Angeles communities, and she continues to participate in it yearly.

Dr. Fong also has a heart for promoting oral health education. She visits many schools teaching kids good habits that help preserve their oral health. She also educates lower-income families about proper oral hygiene for infants and toddlers.

Hobbies & Interests

Dr. Fong has many hobbies including watching movies, camping, and hiking. She is a self- proclaimed foodie. When she’s not in the office, you can find her baking or exploring new restaurants and coffee shops in Los Angeles.
