What are wisdom teeth?

Also known as third molars, wisdom teeth erupt in the back of the mouth between the ages of 17 and 25. Third molars are typically the last teeth to develop and may come in many years after all the other adult teeth. Most people don’t have sufficient space in the mouth for wisdom teeth. This lack of room for third molars can cause dental health concerns like crowding, oral pain, infection, and much more.

Many people tend to wait until they’re grown adults to remove their wisdom teeth, but we recommend that doing it earlier is always better to prevent you from experiencing any sort of dental pain.
